In Japan, we can't eat or drink at all, so I always wanted we can drink in the class, at least mineral water!!

if i cant eat or drank then i wont be able to concentrate.i am in college now so i am allowed to eat in all classes but in high school we could eat in almost all classes as well except science class cuz of safety reasons.

Well in college, they don't care. They do care in highschool and that's one reason I'm glad I'm out.

I recall we could in some classes, depended on the teacher. One teacher didn't allow in in class but told us to leave and go get something at the cafe if we were that desperate! lol
I think overall, it isn't a good idea. Some work placed don't allow snacks and drinks at your desk either.

No Way! It's already difficult to pay attention w/ everyone making noise, I definitely don't want to hear people gulping watering and chomping on chips. Even if they were quiet, you just know someone would throw food at people's backs.

I could never eat or drink in class apart from water of course, but we'd sometimes bring out cokes in with us.
